Dr. Thacker is a former rugby and football player at a College level. When he’s not working or with his family, he enjoys recreational sports ranging from beach volleyball, baseball, snowboarding, and golf to martial arts and scuba diving.
Dr. Thacker shares his views on patient care… “I was always taught to consider the big picture when treating patients. It’s not always black and white, and the same injury in 2 different people, with 2 different sets of circumstances (family, job, desire to return to sports) may have 2 completely different treatments. When faced with a patient with a complex problem, I ask myself, ‘what would I do if it was my family?’”
