S. Thacker, M.D. Sports MedicineDr. Sunil Thacker is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine.  He is a graduate of UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, training at the level 1 Trauma Center, which included an appearance on TLC’s “Truama Life in the ER.”  He went on to earn his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, in Philadelphia, PA, during which he took care of  numerous professional NFL, MLB, PGA, NBA as well as collegiate athletes including members of the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers, and Philadelphia Phillies, University of Delaware and Rowan University.  His practice also focuses on joint preservation arthroplasty in active adults.  In addition, Dr. Thacker is a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine, where he helps to decide which articles are eligible for publication.
