Dr. Fechisin is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon from Blairstown, New Jersey. After graduating with honors from Lehigh University, he received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Following a one year surgical internship at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania, he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. During his residency, Dr Fechisin completed six months of training at the Childrens Hospital of Pennsylvania for pediatric orthopaedics as well as at Morristown Memorial Hospital for orthopaedic trauma.
With a heavy interest in joints and arthritis, Dr Fechisin pursued and completed a one year fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. While there, he learned the latest techniques in total joint replacement using a wide range of the newest implants available. In addition, Dr. Fechisin specializes in all disorders and injuries of the knee, and also has subspecialty training in arthroscopy and cruciate ligament reconstruction.
