Dr. Beights received an Arts Bachelor degree and was a varsity cross country and track athlete at Princeton University. Originally from south Florida, his undergraduate research took him back to the Everglades to explore resource selection habits of the tiny population of Florida Panthers residing there.
He continued his research in animal behavior at Rutgers University in Newark while completing post-baccalaureate pre-medical work. He earned his doctorate at Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where he was a research fellow at the renowned Gait Study Center, focusing on congenital and neurologic gait deformities and associated functional bracing techniques. Dr. Beights completed an intensive Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgical residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he was trained in Joint Replacement, Trauma, Limb Salvage, Reconstruction, and Advanced Wound Care.
Additionally, his areas of expertise include Sports Medicine, Non-Surgical techniques, Minimally-Invasive Bunion Correction, Arthroscopy, Plastic Surgery, Cartilage Transplantation, and General Foot Care.
